The
Australian Academy of Tai Chi & Qigong hold day & evening
classes in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley & the
Central Coast Region. All tai chi classes are lead by certified AATC instructors.
Beginners are first taught Shabashi 1 & 2, sets of 18
exercises each & the foundation of the tai chi form. From these
beginnings you learn all 108 movements of the Khor Yang Style Tai Chi
Form over 6 terms as well as specialised Qigong exercises, including
the Lotus.
Continue your tai chi journey into weapons which enhances
your understanding of tai chi. The four tai chi weapons include
the Yin Yang Sword, Dragon Phoenix Fan, Immortal Flute & the Pole.
Tai Chi has major health benefits for asthma, arthritis,
osteoporosis as well as other conditions including low mobility,
balance, stability & reduces falls.
